Initial Consultation
Your initial consultation is the most important step throughout your dental treatment process. Dr Elkhatib needs to be aware of how you look after your teeth, any previous conditions and health problems you may have. This is so the Lumière Dental Centre team can tailor their treatment specifically to you, making your treatment a totally personal one. This initial consultation will also explore what you want to gain from receiving any of the Lumiere treatments such as straighter teeth, whiter teeth, less pain, chewing mobility etc.
Fluoride Treatment
Fluoride is a mineral found in our water that helps promote strong healthy teeth and gums by acting as an agent that fights tooth decay. If your teeth are prone to easy decay you may not have a substantial level of fluoride in your diet. Dr Elkhatib can perform a fluoride treatment in the form of a gel, done in the dental chair.
Oral Hygiene
Healthy gums and teeth require daily routine maintenance. Sometimes we are not provided with the information we need about a healthy oral hygiene routine. Dr Elkhatib provides education about how to best take care of your teeth and gums and what to look for as a symptom of any oral conditions.
Grinding Appliances
Teeth grinding is a habit most people don’t know they are doing until their teeth are so badly damaged, a restoration is often needed. If you or your partner have noticed that you habitually grind your teeth, especially while sleeping, you need to take action.
